Billing and Cancellation
Q: I have a coupon code. How do I redeem it?
When you go through the checkout process you will be asked to include any coupon codes you might have on the sign up page. This coupon will be deducted from your purchase.
Q: Will I be billed for the full cost upfront?
No. Your card will be charged each month. For example, if you sign up for a six-month subscription at $29.94, your credit card will be charged $4.99 each month. The charge will show up on your bill as PPI Penguin Putnam.
Q: How do I cancel?
You can cancel your subscription by sending an email to ecommerce@us.penguingroup.com with "My Artist's Way Toolkit" in the subject line. To ensure that you are not billed for the following month, you must cancel five business days prior to your next billing cycle. Billing occurs every 30 days from you date of signup. You can find your date of signup by clicking on "My Account" at the very bottom of the screen.
Q: What will happen to my material if I cancel? What if I want to renew my subscription?
We will keep your work for 60 days after a cancellation or expiration of your subscription. If you renew within 60 days, you'll receive access to all your Artist's Dates, Exercises, Creativity Pages and Creativity Notes.

Q: Will my entries be private?
Yes. Everything you write in your Artist's Dates, Artist's Exercises, Creativity Pages and Creativity Notes is completely private and can only be accessed by you.
Q: How can I make sure my writing is saved?
By going to "My Account" you have the option to turn Autosave "On" or "Off". By turning Autosave "on" everything you write will be automatically saved as you switch between tabs. However, you may also save an entry by simply clicking on the word "save" in the upper left hand corner of the notebook page.
Q: Can I print a hard copy of my work?
Yes, you will be able to print your Artist's Dates, Exercises, and Creativity Pages. To do so, you must first export your work using the "Export" option found at the top of the notebook pages.
Q: How can I change the background and/or font size?
Make sure you have enabled pop ups for the Artist's Way Toolkit. Then, click on "Personalize," which appears at the top of each page in the notebook. Using the pop up menu, you can choose one of six different backgrounds and adjust your font and font size. To save your changes, click "OK." When you choose a new font or background, the change will automatically apply to every section of the notebook.
Q: Can I include photos in my notebook?
Yes. Click on the "Photos" option at the top of the notebook and click on "Browse" to select the photo you want to upload. Photos must be smaller than 1MB to upload properly, and all images will appear as thumbnails at the bottom of your notebook entry. Simply click on the thumbnail to view a larger version of the image.
Q: If I download the App for iPhone or iPad, will my work be in both places?
Yes. The Artist's Way Toolkit App will sync with the web site, allowing you to journal whenever and wherever the creative spirit hits you.
Q: Why don't I get a new Artist's Way Exercise and Artist's Date each day?
Artist's Way Exercises and Dates are activities that you do weekly, so the Toolkit is set up to deliver a new Artist's Exercise and Date each week.
Q: How do I view a previous week's exercise or notebook entry?
If you click on the calendar icon in the upper lefthand corner, you'll see a dropdown menu that will allow you to either click on a previous week's Exercise or Artist's Date. If you're in the Creativity Pages, you will see a calendar menu, and you can click on a particular calendar date to view that entry. Any date that you wrote in your Creativity Pages will have a red outline. You may also lcate an older entry by using the search function.
Q: What is the difference between a Creative Note and my Creative Pages?
Creative notes are ideal for spontaneous snippets of inspiration, whereas the Creative Pages are better for lengthier pieces. For instance, if a great line of dialogue comes to you or you think up a fantastic name for a character, use the Creative Notes to record these inspired moments ' and keep them all in one place. Use the Creative Pages for longer works, like a short story, novel, diary, or other creative endeavors.
Q: I'm having problems logging in and/or a technical issue with the Toolkit. Who can I contact?
